Our desire is to serve people and walk beside them as long as necessary for them to choose life. Numbers count little if a life is lost because we lose the way of the Lord’s calling. When clients come, downcast and considering abortion as the solution for their crisis, it is incredible to be in the arena of the Lord and watch Him work. As client advocates present the gospel and information in a non-judgmental, compassionate manner, the clients’ fears are gradually replaced with hope. As they catch a glimpse of their baby in the ultrasound image, their sorrow continues to turn to joy.
If in any way we have influenced one involved in an unplanned pregnancy to choose life, we have an obligation to help her become a better person and parent. We will continue to encourage our clients to grow in the Lord and empower them with confidence and practical life skills as they attend L.E.A.P. classes at the Center. In addition, the Bible study held once a week provides not only instruction in God’s Word but also loving mentoring beyond the pregnancy. Other family members are often impacted and attend class after witnessing a change in their loved one.
Over the years, it is evident that the Lord has ordained each client’s visit. We are confident that He will continue to grow the ministry by sending desperate women in crisis and His servant-hearted to minister to them.
